Energy Efficiency & Renewables

Renewable Energy projects we lend to include solar water heating installations, solar photovoltaics, micro-hydro, and wind power.  This is an essential sector for building a sustainable future and we are always interested in applications for businesses or individual projects in this sector.

We also lend for energy-efficiency projects and/or appliances.  These can include insulation retrofits, fuel-efficient vehicles, and any other any energy-saving technology or design solutions.  Many such design solutions and technologies are an integral part of making a stand-alone household renewable energy system more feasible.

In mid-2006 we heard from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) that they had chosen Prometheus as their preferred provider for their solar water heating finance assistance programme. more »
